To be fair my job (I say job, I’m classed as unemployed in the UK government’s eyes) is to be my mum’s carer, so I’m always at home.

Yes and no. I mean, I stay at home which is a plus. She has a lot of complex needs (basically she has lots of mini strokes) so I need to be there to give her meds and stuff. I take her to lots of appointments at the doctors/hospital and do a lot of the talking. She’s has the condition for 18yrs now so I pretty much know everything there is to know about strokes.
