I've been making high quality gifs for years on tumblr, and I figured since I want to be more active
on KPS, why not make some for my fellow users here as well~?

I use Photoshop 2021, Avisynth, Topaz Denoise to make my gifs and get them nice and sharp,
and I fix the color grading with my own adjustment psd's that I customize for every single gif.

I can also add animated effects to a static image, for example snow, sparkles, animated doodles, text...
or arrange gifs in a custom layout. Anything you want, basically !

my gifs on tumblr (click on the gifs for full resolution)!

✽ TERMS OF SERVICE ✽

• All requests will be done for free (November 2021)
• This thread is for requesting gif creation only; I will not be resizing, cropping or recoloring gifs taken from tumblr
(most gifmakers including yours truly do not appreciate their gifs being edited or claimed, lets be mindful of that)
• You can use these gifs freely as dp's and signatures on kpopsource as well as other forums
• You will not repost the gifs I make in this thread to other platforms or claim them as your own
• Unless otherwise specified, all requested gifs are publically available for use to everyone on the forum

Size: avatar / signature / custom dimensions in px

Timestamp: from [hh:mm:ss] to [hh:mm:ss] (you can add as many timestamps as necessary***)
Recolor?: yes / no (see before & after examples above)
Anything extra?: custom layout, special effects, text, sparkles, doodles etc...

*** please specify if one of them needs to be in a different size tho


It might take me a while to get your request done if I'm busy, but usually you can count on
30-45 minutes per gif after confirmation (if I don't struggle with the coloring, that's the hardest part )​

I would like some of this video! For dimensions, I don't have a preferred size but I'd like it if they were vertical instead of horizontal. Though whatever looks best is fine with me

is this for a signature? im asking cause kps has a signature size limit so i'll have to calculate how large each gif can be before i can get started~

gif quality heavily depends on the video quality, and twitter videos arent exactly the most high quality.. i'll see if i can find a download for the actual episode and gif that instead

actually here's a video i made last year for a tumblr giffing challenge thingy to help you visualize the tools i use! my giffing process is a little different now but its still the same tools i use

i forgot to post this here, thankfully i still had photoshop open in the background to remind me ^^;;
the gif is a bit noisy and washed out so the color grading applies quite patchy, i could try and fix that by handpicking the colors in export but it still wont be perfect. i figured since you'll be resizing the gif to 77px/badge size it probably wont be very noticable anyway so its not worth the extra effort unless you specifically ask for it

i also had to tweak the adjustment layers a bit for each shot but i hope it still looks somewhat cohesive ^^;; anyway just let me know if there's anything you'd like me to change, i have the psds saved so it's not a bother at all

if you want i could also try to make a gif myself and see if i can clean it up a bit w topaz and stuff before applying the adjustment layers, that would give the best results i think?

My internet is stupid rn but I can send you the link later if you're willing to try it yourself, it is a chunky gif so sorry about that I'm not very experienced at making them
