So I just fill in my partners favourites?

Only when the question asks specifically. So one question is Upbeat or slow songs, that’s asking your preference between those two, then another question asks your partners favorite Kpop vocalist which you would then guess what your partner’s favorite vocalist is. Only when the question states “Your partners _____” do you answer what your partner likes, their faves, etc…
