It is really frustrating! Especially since we dont know them! Their entire personality could be staged as to be more appealing to us as fans! We don't know the real them and probably never will! Even so it isn't our business anyways.

Yes! In all honesty.. most of their likeable 'personalities' is probably fan service.. but even then we wouldn't know for sure.

i agree but the same goes for assuming that all idols are straight so if someone says "don't call idols X and Y gay, they're not" that's also a part of the problem. of course i don't condone such assumptions but i guess having people assume things about your personal life is a part of being a public figure which can't be changed just like that whether we like it or not.
