It's less so that I'm knowledgeable in every other group but more that I'm more knowledgeable and focused on the groups that I follow and stan the most. I am the type of fan who knows all of the "title tracks every KPOP fan should know" and then some and I can name you a lot of idols (don't ask me about male idols, I'm worse at naming them) but I know the most about groups like Twice and Blackpink...

I've been around a long time, so I know about a lot of the major kpop happenings from second gen onward, but like, I couldn't answer questions like what is Joohoney's favorite food or anything. And I've met enough people who know WAY more about nugu groups or kdramas or award shows or... than I do, so I feel like I know enough to have a broad knowledge, and that's good enough, lol.

I'd say I'm the third poll option. I got into K-pop kinda late compared to others (3rd/4th gen cusp), so obvs idk anything about 1st and 2nd gen groups besides a select few.

I am knowledgeable with 2nd and 3rd gen groups mostly, I have been out of touch with most of 4th gen though so I couldn't really tell you anything about the newer groups aside from the ones I have decided to listen to as of this week and that's only base level.

First gen is like the forgotten generation it seems, its really increbily rare to meet anyone that is big on those
