This is the definitive, unbiased, REAL and TRUE, objective, tier list of STAYC title tracks. No questions asked. Keep in mind, I like all of their title tracks.

7. Beautiful Monster
Like this song but it is unfortunately my least played song due to the fact that it doesn’t sound like STAYC, but the vocals alone keeps it standing.



6. ASAP
The definitive trendy STAYC song where in my opinion, the dance is better than the music. Its not something I go back to frequently because it doesn’t have a chorus but it is fun regardless.



5. RUN2U
Its the same deal here where its not much of a chorus although better than ASAP in that regard. Gotta say though whoever is producing their music I mean, shoutouts to them there’s so many cool sounds in this one song.



4. Poppy
Wasn’t into it at first but it started drilling into my head. I think its cute, its fun, and its something STAYC would do. They also do like a reverse chorus where they do the catchy bit first before singing.



3. So Bad
Big So Bad supporter but its died down recently because its missing that cute, fun factor that I listen to STAYC for. This is more of a driving edm track. Its a workout song for sure.



2. Stereotype
Stereotype is like ASAP but better. They fit similar vibes, but this one has a chorus. Sieun’s and ISA’s vocals on this are the selling point for me. Everything just fits perfectly and its easy to listen to.


1. Teddy Bear
This song to me personally is everything STAYC stands for and its their sound achieved to the highest level. It has a fun choreo, its fast like So Bad, upbeat like Poppy, with a fun chorus. I think they’ve hit every note with this one.

Yours is quite similar to mine except I can’t get myself to like Run2U. Once I get to that chorus I have to hit skip. The opening verse is nice tho

Run2U is their worst title for me.

Same. It's what started me slowly liking their music in all honesty. Like Yeah ASAP was fun, but it was the only stand-out for me. Stereotype was ok for me. THEN I hated Run2U but Young Luv was amazing and now Teddy Bear has me sold.

OMG, yes! Are you me? Because I was on the exact same trajectory. ASAP and Stereotype were just okay, but neither hooked me. I listened to the crap out of Young Luv, to the point that Run2U is now at least tolerable to me (but what a choice...). Then I loved Beautiful Monster and I quite like Teddy Bear. It hasn't dethroned Beautiful Monster, but it's a good direction for them to be in, I think!!

OMG, yes! Are you me? Because I was on the exact same trajectory. ASAP and Stereotype were just okay, but neither hooked me. The part before they say ASAP can be seen as a chorus but it sounds like a pre-chorus. When the beat technically drops, that part in itself is to me, not a chorus (at least not like a real chorus, they’re not even saying anything)

I mean sure thats what I’m saying it doesn’t exactly sound like a chorus, there’s no rising action before it to distinguish it. It just goes in almost like another verse. When the beat “drops”, which is more of an anti-drop in this, there’s nothing happening.

I think that's what people call an anti-climax or something like that. I think it's similar to songs like Sugar Rush Ride. For me that song has no chorus. But also I can barely listen to it.

Its a chorus in the kpop world since literally everyone does it, in every other genre scenario that shit will suck in comparison. Even like in Punk Rock where they have repetitive lyrics, they at least manage to create some sort of chorus or hook with some substance. Want a real chorus? XG’s Shooting Star

That was just a general question because I was curious on your take of what a chorus is given that ASAP at least has more words than that. I'm glad we agree on that front.

I am a fan of anti-drops though, don’t really mind them. Something like Somi’s Dumb is good. I was going off on the fact that kpop producers really dislike creating meaningful choruses and outros. So now every chorus sounds the same nowadays.
