So in IVE, Gaeul is like the tiny member and a lot smaller than anyone else, here a little clip to illustrate it:


But In reality she is not even smol, she is 1.64 m (5'5"). If she had debuted in any other group, there would be no way she was the smallest member of the group. But she has the misfortune to have debuted with a bunch of giantesses. I really wonder if there is any GG with an higher average height than IVE!

It’s not the same, but with BAP Zelo eventually got tall enough that the BAP members all looked kind of short by comparison (to me at least, and the BAP members even mentioned it on camera somewhere). But despite looking shorter they’re all at or above average height (Jongup was 1.74 m and he was the shortest, which is about the height that Korean men were listed on average. The others were all above that).

I'm not saying its bad btw! But when she did that this or that interview, ther was an option like Gaeul being 2 m tall or everyone else in the group getting shrunk to one meter. She apologized for shrinking everyone, but she seemed really happy when she imagined the other members all having to look up to her
