I remember one day they say you can only see 300 tweets a day....twitter stopped loading tweets all day...

Then the next day I was back to reading all the tweets in the world.

300 was only for new accounts though, but I don't how new was defined

1000 old, 600 new

you may have run into the initial 600 limit
