did anyone play the pokémon games? (1 Viewer)

when I was a kid I was obsessed with the games, I watched the anime as well but I enjoyed the games more.
my favorite games have to either be sapphire and ruby, pokemon gold and silver (the reboot) or black and white. but I liked playing all of them.
i still play them on an emulator that i have downloaded on my pc :llama_uwu:

I've played at least one of the main games up until OR/AS and I also played XD, Colosseum, Ranger 1 and 2, the Mystery Dungeons except the Wii one, PBR and Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2.

I stopped playing the main games when they made it 3d. one of the things that I liked about pokemon was that it was 2d but it was also amazing visually.

I didn't even think the 3d was good tbh, it's understandable why they did it cause now they can use the same model instead of having to remake them but I did like the different sprite designs they did for each generation even if some were

yeah, some of the designs were just... but i hope that they keep the 2d aspect when they remake more games in the future. or they can just incorporate both 2d and 3d like they did with black and white because I really enjoyed that.

3D Games remind me of 3ds

omg I had a 3ds, I played Mario cart on it or something like that and my young mind was amazed
I remember having a ds that could play both Gameboy games and ds games, I would play on it for hours.

I never really got into Yugioh, i actually was into bakugon for a while when i was a kid. but I had a lot of points where I was just done with the games because of certain battles... cough Milty and milktank cough.

An intellect, Sinnoh in terms of both games and anime series in general is the superior region

I don’t have a Nintendo Switch so the Sword/Shield are a no go for me, but I’m sad they didn’t do Sinnoh remakes for the DS before changing platforms.
