The glorification of abs. I like abs, but even I know that I'm in love more with the illusion than anything else.

What I mean is......... okay, so everyone always gushes and fawns and raves over k-pop girls with visible abs. But three things, 1) It's mostly caused by a low BFP (body fat percentage) due not to calculated calorie tracking but more because of a culture and an industry that demands you be a twig, 2) the muscle tone usually isn't that impressive either, just enough for k-pop dancing, which is totally fine and still great, but 1) they're starving themselves for this look, and 2) guys, these aren't cheerleaders or gymnasts or sprinters or whatever, stop acting like their abs are on that level, please. Also, 3) their abs usually only pop in low lighting, so people are really reaching when they claim, 'OMG, ABS.'

Same goes for the boys, tbh.

But people who have no idea about fitness or nutrition keep going, 'OMG ABS', validating and encouraging the toxic culture.

Like, just stop.

i agree with you, but then there are also some who work out and are able to have good nutrition...ex. changbin, bang chan, idk anymore ;-;
