Its just that some of the users who are staff members feel like they are of higher authority and while with other users, I interact a lot and get to know them, I avoid some staff members since I get nervous with them and don't talk as much to them.

I don't talk to them so I am not close with them but yet I feel sad when they are having fun and joking with other users who are their friends.

Since they don't talk to me first, I feel that they don't want to talk with me so I don't go talk to them either as I think that if they don't like me, they wouldn't want to interact with me either.

My mind overreacts a lot

You can start small then. You can talk to ex staff members like nadia. They don't have that power anymore, even if they once did, so it won't be as scary. Plus, she's really nice. Or, alternatively, you can talk to the newer staff members like MK3AM who just joined the Cards Teams and is as nice as ever. If you knew them before they became staff, that might be less scary. They're still the same person, regardless of position.
