im so scared the ball is gonna hit me in the face i get spooked easily so i hate it when there are 7 balls whizzing past me

yeah but there are multiple games going on at once and we're all not that great at controlling the ball so the balls are flying everywhere

I have a phobia of sports that involve balls ever since I broke my middle finger during basketball and the teacher said "pour some water over it"

I don't like contact sports, either. We were playing dodgeball in PE one day in high school, and I got hit square in the face with the ball and had to go to the nurse's office bc my lip was swollen and bleeding. My gym teacher said I looked like Julia Roberts with the fat lip, so at least that made me feel a little better. lol

man, middle finger injuries suck, especially when you have to walk around like you're flipping people off lol

I got my middle and ring finger in a splint so it wasn't noticable

oh, that's good. I cut my left middle finger almost in half on an Xacto knife once in art class, and when I was wearing the splint, I looked like I was flipping the finger. Let me tell you, that alone was enough for the bullies to have a field day with it. I still have my finger, it's completely healed, but oml, the bullies!

we have to have a doctors note or valid excuse if we want to skip and nothing happens if we fail but WHYYYY VOLLEYBALL
