I think some people believe that if you have a number in your name symbolizing the number of members in the group that you’ll lose members more easily.
Ex. Day6, AB6IX, Treasure13 (kinda? Predebut they were called that and had 13 but a member left after the show but before debut), Seventeen (same thing as Treasure13 iirc), Ghost9, 9Muses. Got7 and SF9 are two that go against that though.

I think Seventeen technically fell under the number curse, at least when Cheol took his hiatus, bc it's 13 members + 3 units + 1 group, and while he was gone, the math wasn't mathing. lol

Tbh I think that’s fine because he was still in the group. I still do think they fall under the curse because they had 17 members predebut and lost 4 But that was predebut so it’s also different
