Seungyoun is becoming one of my favorite contestants and i'm understanding the hype around Hangyul (?).

Wooshin was perfect as expected

I still haven't finished watching the episode, but oh boy did I feel bad for the leftover members during song selection or what... Some of them are basically the leftovers of the leftovers. Hope they perform well anyway! It already sounded quite unfair that the two groups get to perform different songs.

Also good to know that Mnet still likes overediting, almost lost my shit at the baksu edit when Taeeun chose his members. I thought the audible gulping was what their peak performance looked like, but apparently I was wrong.

Ok, now that I've seen the performances for this ep...

Mama was so good?? Like wow, I definitely didn't expect the show to kick off that well. Can't wait for the solo cams to have a btter look, the episode's video quality was so bad that it was hard to see individuals properly. I really liked Tony's vocals, only if he started conversing in Korean I might consider putting him in my top 11, lol. Seobin sounded very good also, too bad with all that's happened...

Love Shot was good also, such a good start! There was something I quite didn't like about their vocals, like they sounded a bit too childish, but it's totally understandable, so. BUT SERIOUSLY KIM SIHUN, he just skyrocketed back to my top 2. Deserved win!

No More Dream did pretty well, but I feel like they didn't quite hit the mark. It was quite harsh to pit No More Dream against BST, but I guess we'll see next week.

But most importantly...
Choi Suhwan looked so good in the Lullaby teaser??? I had to replay that part so many times lol, I'm so excited for next week's ep!!

  [*]Also, it's pretty obvious Mnet was really setting up an arc for Seobin. He was placed in X but did really well in the Mama performance so that was definitely supposed to be his redeeming moment. I don't know if i'm sad we won't get that or sad that Mnet is predictable.
  [*]I feel sad for the last X trainee though. now he's literally the only one but I guess they are moving on from grades though so it won't matter as much. I hope they let him dorm there though that'd just be mean if not

The parts were not divided evenly. The vocalists with the higher pitches got the majority of the parts.

After skipping out on Episodes 1 and 2, today I finished Episode 3 and the first 40 minutes were not necessary. The episode picked up after that. I love watching group practices and interactions.

This whole Avenger team thing is somewhat weird. Let's see if they are really the Avengers. (Well I'm rooting for the debut team lol)

At first I was very skeptical about the EXO songs. We all know that the songs aren't easy - especially Mama. It's very rare to hear a good over of this songs. So I was surprised! They actually did a great job. I liked Mama better then Love Shot, but Wooseok was awesome!

I hope that the current TOP 11 will change soon. I don't understand why some of them are in there. Also need more of Midam and Suhwan!

Same. I think Minkyu is sweet but I don't really know why he's #2. There's about 4 people in the top 10 I'm not sure why they are ranked there

Visuals. It was like this in S2 too. At least the visuals who ended in W1 proved themselves but when I watched S2, it was ridiculous to see Jihoon at #1 just because he winked and not because he showed any talents (he only showed these much later because he couldn't before).

I know it can be so frustrating! I can tell you as a Daniel stan since the beginning. I know a lot of people assume he was popular from the beginning but Koreans actually cursed us international fans out for liking him and some other boys like Seongwu, you can see comments here, lmao. For Daniel, although he started at rank #23 I was frustrated because he remained there two weeks then moved to rank #12 so I guess he had it well but I also saw potential in him while Koreans didn't at first. He got good screentime due to his good nature but he also had some scandals like the 4 cat scandal and the one where they claimed several times that he smokes (dumbest shit ever because it was an ice cream stick) and even for his introduction video they claimed he smoked because he has such deep voice and he was ill but the truth was that for 3 days he was teaching other boys without proper rest.

And then he finished last in Sorry Sorry 2 team, with just 33 points. He said he wanted to quit because he was so embarrassed that no one would vote for him. I don't know if you know but Hyunbin won in that team and I remember Seongwu being all shady 'What did Hyunbin do to get this many votes?' It was all due to visuals at first and not because of talent. As you know now, Sorry Sorry cover is the most popular one from S2, they weren't called Justice League for no reason because 4 of them ended up debuting in W1. :)

And because of this, I'm 100% sure that eventually those we actually deem worthy, will make it.

Also here's post from S2 [enter-talk] 8 TRAINEES THAT ARE 99.9% SURE TO DEBUT ON PRODUCE101 Out of these listed 5 made it. The comments are kind of accurate too ', Jihoon is the only one 100%` secure, only thing he'll have to fight for is 1st place, cos Daniel seems to be the dark horse creeping up on him.' I don't know who is dark horse this season though? Maybe Suhwan, maybe Seungyeon? So I would just keep my eyes on them because they are charming.
