I have been really into them lately. Watched one about fascinating cities around the world, watched another on insects, and so many more. It’s been my way to calm my brain lately ​

apparently recently me and @centen are watching people umm...enter various caving systems and not returning - I guess that's a type of documentary lol

nah, I find them boring... unless they're music docs about artists I stan

but if I did, I definitely wouldn't go for true crime. I watched one a long time ago called I'd Kill for a Baby, and it was so triggering and hair raising that it talked me out of watching any others like that. If you've never seen it, my best advice is, don't. at least not if you have a high-strung heart like I do.

Docs are taking up most of my media intake these days, I love anything true crime and psychological analysis... It helps me write deranged characters better because it shows how criminals think and justify things in their own mind.

if they're about a topic i'm interested in then yes, especially since they tend to be shorter than feature films so it's easier to find time for them. recently i watched "the greatest night in pop" and i loved it
