First we got Gas 2.0 recently by Riize

Yes, I know they're sampled from the same song but you don't give 2 your groups literally the same song???
At this point I'm convinced SM doesn't know what they want to do with Riize... like wtf

Also, the merch? (Apparently Johnny pitched the idea, i don't know if this is confirmed)
I know this seems like something minor but this is like the 3rd thing in a week that's come out.


Then, we got a teaser for Dreamscape for NCT Dream...
Personally I don't really see it much of an issue but it is VERY similar.
Why would you re-use your own concept done by another group?


It's just so sad that SM copies 127 for their other groups especially after you learn that 127 doesn't have their team anymore and were in charge of basically everything for "Walk"...

yup, but now it really shows that they've been copying from one group for 2 groups in a week . And that group in question had to do everything in their comeback themselves.
It's not fair to 127, Dream and Riize. Theses groups all deserve more.

The members in RIIZE have a different overall skillset than the members of 127, so I don't get why SME isn't making sure they get songs and concepts that best highlight their strong points.

Like they already have Dream and 127 who kind of have a similar concept, though Dream recently seems to have the adult quirky concept going on.
I liked Riize because they had the retro nostalgic concept going on and it fit them.
Like a company should try to attract as many different fans as possible

I think I may have not been paying enough attention, but it seemed to me that Riize's initial run of singles were totally different not just from 127 but from everything SM had ever done before in general.
How many of their songs sound like 127 songs now? I am arguing from a point of ignorance, but isn't it possible that we're overreacting based on one comeback?

But then yeah, now I'm also thinking... After what happened... Maybe SM does not see 127 as a going concern as a group anymore, and have decided to pass their stuff down to Riize... I hope that's not true.

Riize was very unique when you look at the other groups SM had.

SM never cared. 127 could've become the global group they wanted, instead they pushed them back.
127 had a whole NA-tour scheduled when covid happened and they never sent them back.
They have a large fanbase in Europe and only sent gave them 2 concerts in their whole career.
