then if you don't consider that 28/29 fits inside 31 and you're looking for a perfect match of days, the answer would be 2. December and July (since their so called "following" months have the exact same number of days).

I actually meant 2nd edit, not 2 as a guess.

I misunderstood ur OP, I think its clearer if u asked which 2 following months hv the same number of total days(but tat is way too clear tat its Dec+Jan; July+Aug. Its like a school test question which is ambiguos enough tat i think 12 fits the answer in yr OP; every following month in a year has at least 28 days so they all hv same number of days!!!

I figured that’s what you meant, but in that case wouldn’t the answer be 7 because there are a bunch of months (for example May) that have 31 days, while the one before has 30 days, and therefore those months would also be counted because 30 also fits into 31, just as much as 28/29 fits into 31?
