I would purposely walk like I broke my leg

I always try to put myself at the idols shoes and I'm just seeing a line of fans with their camera up aiming at your face as they walk by like you're some kind of zoo animal...

Though that may not be far from reality, sometimes idols are like zoo animals with just a bit more freedom and better food

in the end, it's not a nice experience for anyone (I don't know of course how the idols really feel about it..)

They're probably used to it but yeah I get why they want to film it, I've been to a few, it happens so fast it just feels like a blur, like there's so many members and you're trying to give everyone attention in those 5 seconds but we record in mine

I definitely agree, I feel like you get a guaranteed interaction but with send offs at least you can talk to them
Plus most people record on their phone and then don’t actually enjoy the experience of seeing them in person, which sucks because now all you have is a recording that looks just like any other

They're all pretty similar. There's only so many actions and faces and emotes you can do with hundreds of fans lol

Tbh I really wish that fans would treat their idols better, nobody wants a ton of cameras literally in their face. There's zero real human interaction in these clips, its all just recordings

Agree, if i record, I would have it at hip level at most and be sure to keep eye contact the whole time, if the recording comes out funky, it is what it is, im sure there will be a hundred fans with the same recording for me to steal

Honestly if I went to a hi-bye I might not even record, and just actually interact with the members, even if its just for five seconds. And yeah, I mean I'll just snatch a recording off YT or smth and pretend the person recording was me lol

Yeah, sadly even if you weren't recording, you wont get much of an interaction at these, they move you like sheeps....the faster they can move you the more tickets they can sell for them

it's like giving up the moment for a recording, i'm not sure the people really think about it, but I also think the same about the people that focus the entire concert only on recording with their phones...

we will never know but as I said it's part of their job...
just like a lot of people not all idols will love all aspects of their job
if they didn't want interactions then they certainly didn't pick the right job did they lol
