Firstly to establish how we deal with spoilers in thread; where are you at with Akatsuki no Yona? Anime-only? Somewhere middle of manga? Fully updated with mangas latest chapter as quickly it comes out?

Secondly: what you think about AkaYona so far and who is/are your fav characters?

I definitely recommend it, the anime covered just part and lot of great thigns have happened ever since. There still isn't news of second season

I read all of in Full bloom, Kingdom and Vagabond though And u should have told Vagabond was left on indefinite hiatus .. god i hate when manga does that.

I want to know what u think of Soowon

I'm so bad at watching movies though, apparently worse than reading manga... Someday..

I rarely drop anything, which is why i end up watching/reading lot of shit. Not that Vagabond is shit. Though i'm bit confused of what it's trying to say.. it just goes around and around circle how fighting others and becoming strongest is cool, but then states how it's actually meaningless.. but then protagonist still dedicates himself to it anyways but it's still meaningless and if it's meaningless to admire sth like sword fighting does that mean the manga is meaningles too since isn't it all about sword fighthing it's kinda like trying to say nope i'm not cool do you follow?

I know, but 2+ hours sitting is just too much dedication of my life. I'd much rather play 6 hours some video game i could stop at one point and save, but won't since i just need to do one another quest.. or manga i just need to read one more chapter off..

Oh wow you really got deep into trying to decipher the meaning of why the manga exists in the first place

Stop being unreasonable and sit your ass down and watch it it's not even that long, it will take like 80 mins at the most

2. Yona, Hak Its actually hard to choose a favorite character, I like everyone, even Soo-won

Hoping for that , well maybe when the forum keeps growing. While ago there wasn't even anime section and now it has multiple pages so slowly but surely.

It doesn't release every week i think, but almost? So there is bit of stuff that has come up, last arc has been quite juicy.

Yes, he's one of my fav anime characters. I love good antagonists

Probably? I'm not sure either in terms of KS, but there isn't that many threads pinned so i guess it's possible.

Same here. I've rewatched it twice but it was quite a while ago.

I remember loving Yun though. I also remember really liking Yona. I hardly ever actually like the female characters in anime but I loved her character development and determination throughout the anime.

Answer to my own questions

1. I started with watching the anime and now I'm up to date with manga.

2. I like most the political intrigue stuff AkaYona has and has been uncovering slowly, i love stuff like that. And i like the grey morality it portrays in many cases. My favorite character is Soowon (sry for those that don't like him, but i will probably spam the thread of screenshots and fanart of him xd), that quite fits to what themes i like about AkaYona though I like everyone in Yona's gang as well, Shin-Ah probably being my favorite there.. and Yun is great.
