Why are you so inactive? (2 Viewers)

I notice that many users are "asleep" when they are on KPS which was one of the main reason why i didn't come here often

I always see threads with 20 views and 2 or 3 comments

So why KPS user don't try to make the forum more alive and are just random ghost watching thread and thats it?

Cuz I had problems with my mental health and had a lot of work to do?
Also, some aren't that encouraging to last 5 pages or so.
We post a lot of news-related things so it's natural that there isn't a lot of posts

And not just act like a ghost on the forum
Doesn't prevent you from having a personal lives

I mean if you're online in a forum it means that you don't have much to do in your personal life for the moment
If you were busy with your personal life you wouldn't be online on a forum

Idk it seems logical to me
That's why i don't understand people who are just here jumping from thread to thread but never see them post anything when it's the whole goal of a forum to interact with users

I can do thousands of thread if i would want if there's no engagement from users like it is nowadays
It'll be useless

It's like say to an industry your products should sale
They can put as much products on the market that they want
If customers don't buy it's useless

FYI - Just because I'm on a forum doesn't mean that I don't have a personal life of my own. I still visit the forums, but I'm not online every second of the day. I have school and my own mental health to worry about and those two are far more important than a low activity forum.

And there's nothing wrong with looking at a thread and leaving it. You don't have to leave comments if you don't have anything to say. 🤷‍♀️ I don't make very many posts a day either.

But i just find it sad that ppl are working their ass to make this forum we are i think 1K now on the forum
They have to pay for the website etc...
And ppl are just here to watch thread at this rate just watch a kpop news website than a forum

It sucks but nothing much can be done, I hope they are at least entertained

But it sad considering the effort that the mod team and donor are doing to keep this forum alive
And that people can't even try to make it more active

Just make me feel sorry for all the ppl who work for KPS

I know it's not a critique, but a lot of us just have more important things to do whether the forum has a bunch of members or not. A lot of us just happen to be busy with things at the moment. I guess when we have a break from school or work it can be more active, but it might be a while until then. 🤷‍♀️

Quite a lot of the time, I have nothing to say about the particular topic. I try to comment on as many as I can though... We have 1000 users but very little active users who use the site regularly so there is bound to be less activity than other bigger forums.

Some people are more active through profile posts as well.
