but I went out today on my recreational friday trip and felt a lot better.
I decided it was better not to shut myself out from the world, like I tend to do when I am upset or hurting.

Allowing yourself to sink into depression will only blind you to those who care. Even if you struggle and can't see don't be afraid to reach out your hand and sees who catches it. There is always someone there for you and sometimes you need to seek them out to remind yourself they are there.

Yes I couldn't agree more. I was blind and I reached out and people came to me.
Blinded by my own sadness and depression.
