Information Horrible performance with 10M views (2 Viewers)

Someone explain to me why this has more views than a lot of actually good groups... it's literally horrible. Their singing hurts my ears, the rap is Blackpink rap so it's no better and the dance is ok at best. Not to mention the pronunciation of words *faints* so bad...

The other performance was at least decent... this is just bleh. I know these are mostly japanese trainees but yeesh this is bad and probably only has the views cause of Bombayah slapped onto it.

They also by some miracle won the versus matchup against the other team... who tf makes this shit up... Mnet ofc​

not a fan of the camerawork, but I guess they needed that, even if it just highlighted their awkward facial expressions (maybe they're not used to that filming style so they didn't think to practice that area?)

honestly, I think the jpn48 groups prioritize talent the least of all idol groups/franchises that I know of so I can't entirely blame the girls themselves; I think management in chn48 gives trainees like 2 months of "training" and everything else depends entirely on your own efforts

even 433, who got singled out specifically for always being off-key, really used qcyn2 to her advantage, I think she even chose to lead a team with the hardest vocal parts lmao (to be fair, it was more her not knowing that it was the most vocally challenging song, but hey, she still did it and went way out of her comfort zone)

Han Cho won is her name and a Cube trainee. As far as I've noticed... she's no better than the japanese trainees as far as talent goes. You should see her first performance.

there was actually a big controversy around this group and the one they were vs. People claimed the group they were against were mean and rude towards them and were bad because they chose the weakest team to go against (even though it was clearly stated by multiple teams that they wanted to chose this team because they were the weakest lol).

But also in the practice footage it showed how most of the team did not care at all and got in trouble with the coaches for it. I think Han Chowon was the only one that tried the hardest and its obvious in the performance.

She got better as the show went on tbh. I don't doubt that she'll make it into a group or go solo. She showed she can rap decently, improved with her dancing, and her singing in the talent showing episode was pretty damn good. She definitely was rough at the start though and she was the one who really pushed her team in this performance otherwise this performance would've been WAY worse.

Admittedly she isn't ready for her debut but she has a lot of potential.

THIS DISRESPECT TO SNACC IN YOUR AREA

Ok but it's all about context. Objectively it's a pretty bad performance, but watching it in isolation doesn't give the full picture.

Basically, 2 teams had to go head to head and pick a concept. The opposing team was all Korean trainees, strong performers while this team had Hyewon who was an actress trainee and Japanese members. Then, the opposing team also chose Boombayah which is obviously a rap/hip hop song which gave themselves a massive advantage over the inexperienced team- most of the Japanese girls couldn't even speak Korean well, much less rap or carry a Blackpink song.

Anyway, it was the right decision if you're trying to win, but voters sympathy massively swung in the way of this Snacc team and hence the views and votes. Han Chowon had to hard carry.

And yeah her audition round was bad but she becomes one of the best through the show, take a look at her later stages- it's night and day lol. She was in the iconic Rumor stage for instance, and had to be a rapper even though she's a vocalist coz nobody else would step up.

yeah they didn't seem to have any intent on giving her any help. Plus, they stopped letting foreign fans vote so US/Canadian fans that would have support her couldn't. Its unfortunate we never got to see her dance all that much in the show I think that would have made her really stand out
