I think it's about pirates and them accidentally getting stranded because of a storm but they crash land on like a desert island instead of their proper destination. But then the place they land at is like hostile territory and they run into a typical commoner who helps navigate them to safety and one of the people in the crew decides he wants to help her and her people or something.

Oh geesh I've heard of this one so much but I still don't know what it's about...

Ok, so I would say that maybe it follows a mystical society of witches who use bones to help aid their magic. However, there are rumors of a specific bone that is heralded by all but only thought to be fiction until a unsuspecting little witch stumbles upon it. Now that it seems to be true multiple clans are hunting her down for the bone which her weak powers can't even use until she realizes there is more to the rumors surrounding the special bone than originally thought.
