an artist can be anyone, anyone who creates.

the fanbase really. popularity. You cant be an idol if nobody idolizes you yet

i made a more understandable explanation in our other post

if there as a Korean artist who sang only in English rock, that wouldn't make him a kpop star. Even if he sung in Korean rock, he wouldn't be a kpop star. he would be a krock star

what makes a kpop idol kpop is the fact they sing Korean pop. its what kpop means . If a idol group was ONLY Korean, but decides to sing a diff genre, they are still a kpop group. it does not change the genre of the band. Tyler the creator sang for a children's movie, did it change him from alt...

the real thing is he is not an idol YET. he is an idol in rising. idols arent kpop exclusive. kpop is a genre of music .

kpop idols . kpop means Korean pop. kpop groups who sing in diff languages are kpop groups because they have previously sang in Korean ad were korean exclusive. what makes him a kpop idol is the genre and language, and yes even the race. not one or the either. you words are muddled ! word soup.

ok.
