    it just happens to be the place I was born in so luck I guess

    I use to eat a lot of it during university days and also partying days - it's a sorta tradition to get a post clubing kebab in my city lol

    ahhh interesting - so what about the reverse then since you known lebonese arabic - do you then have difficulty understanding "standard" arabic?
    for Mandarin and Cantonese - they would understand some parts of the other's spoken language but communicaation would be difficult

    Nope! Standard arabic is taught to Lebanese school kids since kindergarten, but I guess it WOULD be difficult if you learned Lebanese then tried to learn standardized arabic, its just a bit more polished and less easy going I would say
