      I did a doubletake when i read ur sig in ur about page, i think i know now its not against neuro-atypicals but most asians (iv read of the terms b4) wouldnt even hv heard of neurotypical, neuro-diverse or neuro-atypical let alone maybe know the definitions or which category they belong in. Mental health in all of Asia, i dont find very advanced in terms of neurological cognitive paradigm(i had to google this last term as i hvnt encountered/searched for all encompassing term describing human neurological variations.) Thnx to ur profile comments thread, TIL sth.

      The real dissonance for me is if you look at a map, my location is southerly of where south asians who self identity as such are from/live. But east, south east, west asia was taken n central asia is also quite nebulous to me so tat whole are got lumped in/self identified as South Asian. Idek when it stuck, it certainly wasnt South Asia when i was younger. I accept it cos South Asians self identify, who am i to deny them their identity? Shd i ask them to stick to the historical nomenclature tat columbus clumsily made famous in****-american(thru mistaken identity or sth), no i think south asians claim it n it belongs to them(including you), as confusing as it is to ppl in my region, but so far theres been no problem calling it by name of individual country. Edit this was offensive i apologise its just my thots on adapting to modern times.

      I think if someone identifies as something we should just go with it, as long as it doesn't invalidate anyone else.
