Same - It is and I don't want them to GoT clone too much, they need to focus on the main charas - especially in the beginning - and build those relationships up so we care. Ah well we can only hope. Sad about Netflix's Witcher prospects being the next probable destroyed thing so all cynical

It needs to have a more over arching sense of control at a macro level for the evil forces than many other stories.
But not kill the dynamic of the characters that are the reason they are doing this.
Casting will be critical really really need a fantastic Nynaeve and Moiraine. Mat is the lovable rogue and that seems ez to find Rand ofc because so much time is in his viewpoint.
