Is the weird fixation with age and people calling Taeyeon a cougar.
Baekhyun was three years younger than her
Ravi (denied) is four years younger and he's (denied) in his late 20s. It's not like she's robbing the cradle here (denied)

These age gaps aren't even worth noting. But this is nearly never brought up when it's the man that's older with the same age gap.
Nobody said anything about Jenkai and their 2 year age gap
Or Zico's 3 year age gap with Seolhyun
Or Junsu's 6 year age gap with Hani
Or even Eunhyuk and his 7 year age gap with IU when she was 19

The only time I see men get criticized for age gaps are when it's over a 10 year difference like Hyeri and Tony, Homo, Sulli and Choiza, and Suzy/Jiyeon/IU's other relationships (why did that whole friend group go for older men)

Why are women so stigmatized for dating men just a few year younger than them?

I suppose a case could be made that is a Korea thing... but a lot of people did have a bitch session and call Kylie (a 16 year old) a thot for "breaking up" Tyga and Blac Chyna, so...

Because society tells us it's normal, even desired, for women to have an older partner. For centuries it was common practice (and still is in some parts of the world) for men to chose women as young as possible, so she can give birth to many healthy children (and for other gross reasons).
It was also frowned upon when a woman chose a younger man, because younger=weaker and older=stronger.
And this stigma still stucks in many heads and people are way more judgmental when a woman has a younger boyfriend.
