What's stuff you do or have done that others in your fandom might disapprove of?

For me:

I watch/listen to EXO's leaks. One reason I do so is that it's obvious at this point SM is purposely leaking stuff or just does not care.
I watch/listen to all leaks lol. From EXO to Twice to Red Velvet and beyond I don't care about spoilers so I watch them all.
I have the pictures of wayv wearing the banned designer clothing. When fans were freaking out and had people take down the pictures I made sure to save my favorites

Same. I was thinking of putting something about not streaming. But it kind of depends upon the fandom if they care or not.
That was me for a long time

I tend not to define fan or stan by if they buy stuff or not cause some of us just don't have the money sometimes

Some fans are really big into streaming and I’m just like

I only use Youtube to discover new music
Spotify is for listening to songs because they at least pay more than YouTube

People go way to overboard with it.

Same. YT is where I originally came across kpop and I still use it to find new artist or songs.

Yeah I have a very organized kpop folder on Spotify

1. I procrastinate listening to new releases
2. I don't financially support any of my faves cause I don't have financial control yet :/
The only bit of kpop merch I own is an album that my friend bought me oofoof

From what I've heard people don't like it because they are real people.

I can kind of understand that but at the same time I still think fanfics just use idols appearences (if even that) and the rest is made up.

I think it was dolce and gabbana. For whatever reason its banned or highly disliked in China.

Wayv had a shoot before debut I think with the those outfits and so fans didn't want them spreading. A lot of people were afraid they'd be attacked for wearing the clothes

Lol I've watched MVS like a full 24 hours after their release and listened to albums weeks after they came out. So I feel you lol

Money is a kpop fans biggest obstacle

My sin. So.. during PD101 S2, Daniel's Kakaotalk got hacked and someone leaked one of his selfies and people said to delete it if you saw it and not keep it. I mean, I guess it was an invasion of his privacy but I still decided to keep it on my phone.

I've some pictures that are accidentally uploaded too and deleted, like one by Ivyclub, that was not supposed to be shown and they never ended up using that photo anywhere. Unless I upload them somewhere, they're almost impossible to come by.

D&G’s having a huge show in Shanghai what do they do? Release a video mocking chopsticks while making innuendos.
Then send out racist stuff to people’s dms asking them to refrain from doing such

Show is cancelled
D&G is done for in China, people are burning their stuff. That’s the basic story oof

I write explicit fanfiction involving my favs.

I don't personally consider this bad.

But I know many do take the position that it crosses a line.

Yeah personally to me as long as people aren't writing the stuff about minors I don't really care.

- I don't stream - tried it once, realized I have way more to do with my time (but for those that enjoy it, more power to you).
- I don't always leap on any new teasers or releases from my faves or those I enjoy (most of the time with SHINee group or members, and ASTRO, I do - but only on comeback things, not on variety show or radio appearances etc....if I even watch or listen to them, it's like...a while later)
- I'm bad at following solo activities (save for Taemin's.... :c )
- I don't do the vote spam things for awards on music shows or end of the year awards - you'd be lucky to find me voting even once, if I'm being honest (I'm realy bad about this even though I think they always deserve their awards)
- I tell it like it is; if someone does something that's bad, well, I'll say something. If someone needs more training or isn't quite up to par with other members, I won't act like they are God's gift to the world. I'm realistic with my faves, but I don't drag them
- I don't do the whole "oppa didn't mean it" or "unnie was just being a strong independent woman!" when any of my faves screw something up
- I only purchase merch that are albums and photobooks (I wish I could afford photobooks more...I love photography esp of pretty people in book form); I don't purchase shirts, and stickers, and keychains, and fans, and folders, and postcards etc etc (though I would love to one day get the official light stick for both SHINee and ASTRO)
