I think I like my Childhood best friend?
He is in a relationship
We don't see each other much because of my job
but man ugh hes so fineeeeeeeeee
and hes so kind
he has always gone above and beyond to help me when I am in need...
what do I do?

To be honest, if I were in your shoes, I would back away from the friendship until the feelings go away only because from what I've seen, he has a bf, and you don't want to ruin that or your friendship. Plus, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be

Well this changes things but my advice would be you need to have healthy boundaries otherwise you'll quickly start blurring into a dynamic that will get you both in trouble since he already has a partner then you just need to accept that and avoid focusing on him as hard as that probably is since leaning into the idea is what will allow these feelings to grow

Going off what the other users suggested, I would also try moving on as much as you can to keep the friendship. I've been there before, and it was extremely hard for me, but possible. One thing that helped is reminding myself how no one is perfect, and whenever the feelings tried to come back, I'd make a list (usually in my head) of every single thing they ever said or did that bothered me and why. In your case, I would do that, and also focus on the tour, training, your boyfriend, improving your mental health and so on.

what does liking someone have to do with gender? I would say the same thing if you had a crush on a female friend
no I'm saying it's perfectly fine to be just friends with someone and not see it as a relationship
plus the fact that you are still only 14 which means your hormones are all messed up now
plus the fact that you just got out of a long term relationship
plus the fact that you are probably tired and stressed from work
plus there's the fact that he's in a relationship which means if you try to profess to him it might cause issues.
