Depends how the awards aspect is done for me since what Kpop really lacks is an objective awards ceremony which do I think this will be that? Absolutely not but I won't hate on another award show yet as we don't truly have one that hasn't just become questionable with some of the choices

A key idea behind FANOMENON is treating fandom as an industry rather than just a consumer base. Park argued that K-pop fans actively promote artists and contribute to the industry’s success, making them partners instead of customers. He believes Korea can become the global leader in the “fandom industry.”

The project consists of three major initiatives:

- A global K-pop fandom awards ceremony beginning in December 2027 at Seoul Arena and KINTEX in Goyang.
- The FANOMENON Festival launching in Los Angeles in May 2028, before expanding to major cities worldwide.
- K-Culture Centers to be built in key global cities, showcasing Korean government organizations and businesses under one roof.

The annual Fandom Awards will recognize the Top 10 K-pop fandoms based on extensive data analysis measuring fan activity and influence. Rather than artists receiving awards, the winning fandoms will be honored, with artists accepting on their behalf.
