Yeah, for me it’s a good way to get some practice in every day rather than forgetting and slacking

It made me the best in my French class. I started doing French on Duolingo like one or two years before we started learning French in school so I am very much ahead of the thirteen other students. But agreed, Duolingo is bad when it comes to other languages

yeah, like in German, there's a lot of words (like schwimmt and stimmt) that have "mt" in them, and I cannot - CANNOT - say mt without throwing a p in the middle!

These days usually Spanish, though I’ve also studied French and Korean a bit, and I occasionally do Russian just for the reading practice.

I tried doing multiple languages but ended up mixing up some of the languages so I chose to just stick with Spanish

Yeah I like trying out lots of languages, and sometimes it can break it up a bit to do multiple if I’m a bit tired of one

But Russian I’ve already been speaking since forever, I only really use Duolingo for the reading practice because that’s the part I never solidly learned. But mixing them up can definitely be an issue, especially if I try to learn multiple languages at the same level. I can get around that though because my level of skill in all these languages varies quite a bit, so I’m not learning similar topics in different languages. Mix ups still happen sometimes though.
