Completely dropping a group after a scandal
I get it its smth big but I think you can still enjoy their music even if what they did was wrong. It's okay, as long as you don't defend them for it


As for the apology one, I agree. Although, if they gave an apology it doesn't mean they're automatically forgiven, but ofc people can change their past

Fans forgetting they are not perfect and will sometimes do something fans wont approve and theyll drop, send hate trucks to the company etc
Like RM is getting such hate for going to a CB concert like it's fine to be disappointed but to actually send hate and threats to them after being a Stan is disgusting.

Some grudges against idols definitely go too hard and I don't think whether they apologized or not is the main concern in most cases, it's that people take offense way to easily to begin with. You shouldn't have to apologize for mistakes and although it's often the polite thing to do there's rarely cause for it to be taken further than "I didn't know and I apologize" but "fans" call for blood.

On the other hand it's also important not to think idols are beyond flaws and that just because they strongly believe something it's definitely correct, they are normal young adults that just happen to be very good at singing and dancing - that doesn't make them political or moral authorities. You can fully respect and trust in somebody's intentions without agreeing with everything they say or fight to the death over it.

The bottom line is that idols are normal human beings like the rest of us and while they are trained to filter themselves they still have feelings, thoughts and opinions we may or may not agree with.
