Lately, it's been my friends' birthdays. Getting to spend time with them, doing only fun things they want to do with cool people.

I've bowed out of big purchasing holidays and my family is stressful, so even though there are good parts to Thanksgiving and Christmas, they're also anxiety-causing holidays for me too.

in fact, the only big one I don't like that's in the latter half of the year is Thanksgiving. You can praise the Lord for existing and spend family time at Christmas! and you wonder why America is so... uh, well-fed. lol (no offense to my fellow Americans or those who like Thanksgiving - this is just my opinion... admittedly a rather unhinged opinion that I probably shouldn't have posted, but an opinion nonetheless)
