i get that 100%, sometimes the goopy-ness can be too much.I like a just meat between bread very dry sandwich. No weird textures
not a meat sandwich, but alike with textures: pb&j' sandwiches are the devil to me. pb = ok ✅ jelly?!?!? NOPE!! hate that texture so much, its even amplified with the peanut butter its so gross 😭

Garlic Aioli is honestly a game changer as a substitute if you don't like butter, it goes with most things while elevating the flavor. Just a thin layer as I find you need something to keep the sandwich from being too dry and hard to swallow (especially in the morning) even if I prefer it mostly dry.

A very common Pizza in Sweden has banana and peanuts on it and while it's not my personal favorite people really sleep on warm fruit just like with the whole pineapple Pizza debate. Fruit goes really well with warm food if done correctly and it adds a natural sweetness so you don't have to dump a bucket of processed sugar onto everything.Well, Elvis Presley's favorite burger known now a the Elvis burger is topped with peanut butter, bacon, and caramelized bananas.
That said I have some left over bearnaise that I was going to try putting on my burger later, wish me luck.
