Me too, they have one of the strongest gg discographies out there (not the strongest because BEG and f(x) hold those positions for me) and yet I didn't pay attention to them until 2019.

Well I meant among current GGs, well BEG can still be technically called current I guess But yeah among newer GGs, I think OMG discography is pretty much top tier lol. And same, I got back into Kpop in the fall of 2017 and started with the big groups so didn't notice them

The strength of OMG, dethroning ults

I definitely feel like stanning... if I could be bothered to learn some names and watch some shows. Maybe one day, but they might end up dethroning my ults too.

And for real though, how is OMG's vocal line so underappreciated? I think they can go toe to toe with anyone

But yess OMG vocal line, I love how EVERYONE can sing, of course Arin is the visual but she has a sweet voice, Jiho is the visual and she can sing, Mimi raps and the others are all amazing vocalists

It's Mamamoo flop
BEG is my OG, Loona and Dreamcatcher follow closely, and of course EXID & f(x) when those two were alive. I'm also getting into WJSN.

I didn't know Loona was that high up for you I mean because of their wide variety of sounds, it can be hit or miss sometimes. I knew about the rest, WJSN is great too lol.
I got into WJSN and OMG around the same time, I still like WJSN a lot but OMG climbed up my rankings and snatched me

I jumped on the Loona hype train even before they debuted Their production was top notch, couldn't help it

WJSN, Loona, and OMG were three groups who surprised me since their concepts are not my typical preference. Though if I like those three now, maybe they are my style after all.

Their production indeed is very polished, even in songs I don't like I can feel the work that's gone into it
Lol all three of them have different concepts tho, well WJSN and OMG are not poles apart but still OMG is more fairytale like while WJSN is mystical And Exy and Mimi are both

That's why I said concepts plural They're all different but fall under the ethereal/mystical umbrella.

That's why I always say that cute/non girl crush concepts aren't just for kids, once we grow up, we're more open to try everything and not worry about how it looks

I'm just not feeling girl crush anymore, but I still live for sexy concept all the way.


I've never really minded cute/innocent concepts, but I'm certainly more interested in them and more open-minded nowadays.

Girl crush comes across just as forced and over the top as a super cute concept But all the stans losing their mind over it and going YASS QUEEN makes it even cringier for me
Sexy concept will forever rule
A lot of concepts also get thrown under cute/innocent umbrella when they're not lol. Like OMG rotates between cute (Liar Liar/Bungee) and their regular stuff (Secret Garden/SSFWL).

I only go YAAS QUEEN when a group does sexy concept

Well, some people think Kpop is binary -- you either are girl crush or you're cute, when there are so many concept possibilities. OMG has a signature concept and sound that they dominate with their more fantasy/fairytale themes and I love them for it.
