Looks great! How you do that?

I use GIMP and as to how.... I imagine you know how to cut out things from a pic, as for the faded/swirly parts, I like add the colour I want as a blob and then drag it around with the smudge tool until I get the look I want. Then I usually go in with the airburush tool and/or the eraser to fix a bit.

Also layers are SUCH a good friend.... It took me SO long to realize it but thank god I did

I cannot for the life of me crop out or cut out a picture for the life of me. :(
It looks well done and sharp.
Maybe I should check out GIMP myself.
Also, your banner is finished.

tbh I don't like cropping it out much either. If I can I just erase really really close to it.
