I only have one problem how do i listen to his music??? Do ppl really just sit down and play Spotify?

I usually read smth or draw etc and put music on
Sometimes I DO actually do that too though, sit down and listen to the music so I can figure out which songs I like more and which ones I like less + WHAT I actually like about the songs

But isn’t that boring? like it’s just noise

For me when I'm reading or drawin etc the music sets a mood. I don't put some random music on, I usually put on music that fits the mood I am in or want. I have a playlist for a cheery mood or for when I'm working and want to keep the mood happy. I have a slower playlist for when I'm just calm and want to listen to music etc etc

But when I'm just listening....

Then it isn't boring bcs like.... I'm paying attention to the music and what I like/dislike about it. I think about what exactly is good about this song etc, I listen to the lyrics or look them up to see what they mean. I think about the lyrics etc... If I don't like a song or dislike a part of it I try to think about what would make it better or what is wrong so to say.

Thinking about songs like this really makes music overall more enjoyable! Take Jimin's promise for example. I really like the song. I love ballads overall. It's really simple featuring only his voice and a guitar which makes it so much more charming. The vibe is also really casual fitting with the simplicity of the song. It isn't sad, it also isn't bursting with happiness. It's warm and comfortable and just.... sweet

EXO songs are made so much better for me bcs I both love the songs and bcs It's EXO singing it

see the issue I have is I don’t really have taste in music? Like everything is just fine it’s not good or bad it just exists. Ppl say x is a bad song and I hear it and im like idk whatever man If you say so

Do you listen to all BTS songs equally or do you listen to some over the others? If you had to pick between.... Black Swan and Boy with Luv to listen to, which one would you pick? If you prefer one over the other than that is in your eyes the better song.

good or bad with songs generally is very subjective.

The first thing I usually go by is, would I listen to this song again. Would I add this to my playlist, would I like to listen to it more. If I would like to listen to it again then in my eyes it's a good song!

"Bad song" is a lot harder to pin down bcs a lot o the songs I wouldn't listen to myself aren't necessarily bad imo, just not to my taste.
