Honestly I think that nothing will ever compare to the joy I felt while reading the Warriors series for the first time. Even rereading it, it makes my heart so happy and it feels like home. I'm really glad I got into that series when I was younger. I definitely get you though I honestly was the biggest hater for Squirrelflight/Leafpool and the whole mess that came after that... really Lionblade/Jayfreather/Hollyleaf were the saving grace that came out of that (with obvious emphasis on Lionblaze who is amazing even if the woman he loves he's absolutely psychotic for loving). Tbh maybe Jayfeather was the best character of the trio... I don't know. Are there any other book series you enjoy? Any on the same level as Warriors haha?

I feel the same way when I read it as well! It’s like revisiting an old friend or something. 
For book series specifically no, I do like the Six of Crows duology but I’ve definitely become more picky with books as I’ve gotten older. Currently I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump and am trying to get into an audiobook I’m really interested in but my brain is just not letting me focus on it.

I do love fantasy, but more specifically I'd say young adult fiction. This genre + fantasy usually go hand in hand. When I was an avid reader in high school I did read six of crows but I do not remember what it was about. The only other series that I got into was the Throne of Glass series with heavy emphasis on the 3rd and 4th, and last books of the series. The 3rd book of Throne of Glass is my most reread book of the series. With Warriors, I think the first book is probably my most reread since it is the most inspirational? But normally when I reread the Warriors I only reread the first season (set? subset? I do not know). I also want to try out audiobooks in order to get out of my slump. I have so many books but so little time to read them, it's awful. What book are you listening to right now or plan on listening to?

I keep saying I’m going to read the Throne of Glass series but I’ve heard so many mixed things I’m scared I wont be much of a fan.
I think I’ve re-read Fire and Ice the most, I remember just really loving Graystripe in that one. Into the wild is probably my second most read.
Audiobooks are amazing and they usually help me out of my slumps but you know when you start a book and your just like “yeah not in the mood for this either”. That’s what’s happening lol. I started The Bones of Ruin by Sarah Raughley last night, it’s a historical fantasy if I remember correctly.
You should look into The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill, it’s one of my favorite books that I read (or listened to) this year. I loved every minute of it.

I will definitely get that book and add it to my shelf to (hopefully) be read and I'll make sure to let you know my thoughts on it. Looking at the synopsis for The Bones of Ruin, that looks really really interesting too! One thing I do not understand about it, though, is that the hardcover is cheaper than the paperback on Amazon... that feels quite backwards but maybe I should not question it bc hardcovers are superior.
In regards to ToG, I would say it's definitely a product of it's time. I started reading the series while in high school and it was REVOLUTIONARY to me then, but rereading the 1st book now does really make it feel like one of those "pick me!" strong female leads, you know? It's really only bad during the 1st book and like I mentioned the 3rd/4th and last books are AMAZING. I would say to try it out if you get a chance. Also, if you do decide to check it out skip the Assassin's Blade, I never read that and also skip Emperor of Storms, there's no point in reading that book just to learn ONE fact that you'll also learn in the last book.
Maybe we can both make New Years resolutions to read more books in 2023! I do want to regain my reading hobby, and this year I tried to watch more dramas but honestly that fell through... but if you want to hold one another accountable for reading more often we totally should!

I’ve read a few of the special editions. From what I can recall I really enjoyed Firestars Quest. I really loved the characters in that book. If you do ask for it I hope you enjoy it, for me personally I was a little bored with that installment but I’ve never been a huge Bramblestar fan either lol. I’m really interested in reading Crowfeathers book though.
