I don't have health insurance so I don't go to the doctor. I got into KPOP because I used to be very into anime and when I would write my own stories I would use Japanese names and while searching for names to use I stumbled upon Korean names and then suddenly I was watching the Got7 Stop Stop It M/V. Jinyoung w/ black coconut hair and leather pants was my awakening moment, god he was so HOT (he still is but oh my god LEATHER PANTS?? they had me fr). I first got into GOT7, BTS, SEVENTEEN, VIXX but really focused on BTS, but when they released whatever song had title track DNA I fell off bc the music was no longer for me. I got into female groups mid 2018 with my awakening being SNSD's Lion Heart, BLACKPINK's Boombayah, and Pristin's existence. I used to stan a whole lottt of groups but I've since cut down and I am a lot more picky now because it's too hard to keep up with everyone.

Officially, I stan VIXX (Hakyeon ult), BTOB (Eunkwang bias), NCT 127 (only Taeil/Taeyong/Doyoung), BLACKPINK (Jennie bias), EVERGLOW (Aisha bias), and SEVENTEEN (ot13 w/ bias towards Jeonghan/Dino). However, I'm really a solo stan at best so there are many many singular idols I keep tabs on and follow. Even with the groups I "officially stan", the truth is more like "I like X, and they have bandmates ABC". Some examples of singular idols I keep tabs on are EXO's Suho, Zhou Jieiong formerly of PRISTIN, AB6IX's Woong, and fromis_9's Saerom.

that is true it's hard to keep up with all my favs as well but I've never had to cut anybody unless they disband...

stan none - I have groups I say I'm a fan of but I won't call myself a stan since I don't think I am one...
but I like GG - BP, RV, Twice, Itzy, Gidle, Aespa, IVE
I used to like IOI and Izone but they disbanded so...

I just don't really stan groups unless I have members I find connections with and sometimes that's the only thing that makes me care abt a group in general. It's too much to try and stan everyone (I'm looking at you NCT, I especially do not like NCT Dream). I do listen to music from an array of groups though and in terms of 4th gen IVE has my eye. They haven't flopped yet and I really love Liz's voice, she's just amazing. My only beef with them (not really) is that I don't understand how people say Love Dive is better than Eleven when imo Eleven is their BEST title track (I haven't heard any side tracks). I believe in Eleven supremacy. Also where is AESPA comeback? It's truly a curse liking SM groups because they just don't get it, they just flop all the time. They act like they've been in the entertainment industry for two months, what are they, Brand New Music? Come on! Where's Aespa first full album? I'm also NingNing biased and I am a shooter for her because COME ON ????

that company has aces like Moon Taeil and NingNing and then they proceed to treat them like trash. COME ON ESS EMM

I understand that mentality - it's the members personalities that make me a fan
like obviously I prefer GG because I'm a dude but I can listen to any group but it doesn't make me a fan of that group so to me it's the members their personalities (or at least what we see of it on camera) and their interactions with one another - it's also one of the reason no soloists are on my list

LD > 11 - they say some people are tasteless (lots of people say that about me lol) but different strokes for different folks

hey NN's my fav within Aespa as well - I generally have a soft spot for most of the Chinese idols

they are going down the BP dungeon route lol

SM is really the champion of fumbling the bag. They're the final boss

I thought the Jellyfish downfall was bad.... but SM's downfall is one I wasn't prepared for.

from the other side...I'm generally quite open with myself but one thing I wouldn't disclose is what I do for a living so a couple of people randomly decided to say I somehow work in kpop and that given I'm older than most kpop fans (I'm 38 fyi) and that I call myself a boomer (in spirit if not age) that I'm LSM
so from then onwards that moniker stuck and it became a long long running joke that I am in fact LSM!!!
and since this is the internet - no one can prove otherwise!!!

I don't know how that acquisition will go. Sounds weird. But maybe kakao will come in and kick everyone's ass in gear and promote their groups properly. Oh, and GIVE UP THE STUPID NCT CONCEPT PUHLEASEEEE they've failed HOW MANY TIMES NOW??? Come on grandpa, give it a rest!!

sir you dont know the czennie struggle the 127 repack they just released on 01.30 was supposed to come last year before the year-end activities. ay-yo album was filmed and recorded in AUGUST but it got delayed. the pictures they used for the ay-yo album and concept was some random ass LA photoshoot involved the members and one guy with a camera. i hate it here

i think the tour you meant was the nct dream tour or sth? i don't follow them so i am unfamiliar. I don't like their music
