i don't have an ult group, but i have ult biases. saerom (fromis) and s.coups (seventeen) are my ults, and i like to think of exy (wjsn) and minho (shinee) as my vice ults

I don't have an ult group either - I have my favs being BP, twice, Itzy, Gidle, Aespa, IVE, RV

hmm...I won't say I'm a stan of those groups since I usually don't consider myself a stan per se
I generally consider myself a fan at best since I'm also not a very good fan since I've never spent a cent on my favs, I don't stream their songs, I don't defend nor attack them nor other groups
to me the word stan implies a higher level of favouritism and maybe even parasocial relationship

who are your fav groups then and how did you get into kpop in the first place my friend?

hmm thats actually a very rational way to look at kpop, i try to be like that (except i use the word stan to talk about my fav groups, but the line between that and the ones i am a "casual" of is getting increasingly blurred these days...)

my fav groups are svt, shinee, fromis, wjsn, twice, i also keep up w 2ne1, txt, stayc, etc etc. fave soloists are boa and yena

how i got into kpop is a government secret hahahah

that's cool - we each have our own interpretations of the word and it's meaning - there's never a one size fits all criteria and also how we appreciate our favs whether it's fan/stan/fav etc is unique to each of us and nobody gets to dictate how we enjoy kpop or any hobby

we share twice so there's that lol

I liked izone and yena (and I also liked IOI) but they disbanded so I removed them from my fav list a year after their disbandment because it was time to move on lol

no the truth is, bts was my gateway drug into kpop, and i unstanned. while i still love much of their music, im not as invested as i was before. plus it cringe when i look back at me early kpop fan phase so i dont like looking back lmao

that's cool we like what we like and sometimes we move on - I like a lot of BTS songs in fact my fav kpop song is Spring Day
