Actually no, the first ever group that I stanned was Blackpink and I started stanning them when they debuted so 2016

My defintion would be someone that just follows the group very closely is interested in everything they do, not only listens to the music

My definition used to be is that a stan listens to an artist/group's music and they can be called their stan already but I don't think that anymore lol
