And the ending is interesting too. What's your theory on what happens at the end and what it means?

I've actually never thought about that.... 😮 I haven't watched the MV in a long time, so I just rewatched it and realized that they both end up writing the same exact thing in the book at the end. It says something like "riight now I am writing a happy story, but it's all fiction..." so I guess they go back to reality? idk, it's so sad

Yeah, I'm not one of those people that cares about MV theories.

But this is the only one where I'm genuinely curious, since I care about the story.

I don't watch kdrama, but I imagine it would be a really good one

The version of the ending I like to imagine is that the guy made up this fictional world because he didn't find closure in his last relationship. He tries to make the relationship live on in the fictional world, but his memory of her slowly fades. And at the end, he writes an ending to the story so that he can finally find closure and let her go.

Character limit

The problem is that the translation of what's written doesn't really fit that theory. It doesn't seem like he found closure, based on what he wrote, it still seems like it ends on a sad note.

There's also the interpretation of what if she was writing the story too.

That was absolutely beautiful omg. I actually do think you're right about the girl writing the story too, because the guy and girl were writing the exact same thing at the end, but it seems as if the girl fades away first, so his memory is fading, like you said. So really, both interpretations actually fit together even though there may be some faults in the theories themselves.

It is a masterpiece indeed. I dunno what it is about it, but it just speaks to me. No other kpop song has done that for me story wise tbh.

Yeah, and tbh the lyrics are a big part of that. I don't think I really got into the song, until I saw the English lyrics for it one day.
