I have a lot to do at work today and people keep trying to steal me this way and that way and it's very obnoxious because I can't do my job unless I help other people do theirs

But then I'm held responsible for not getting my work done even though the reason I couldn't get it done was bc i have to help someone else do their job or pick up their slack first

Some people at my job left early with half their job done so I had to stop what I was doing to go do that. But before that i was also doing my job before I got told to stop doing that and do something else instead. But then why couldn't i get the 1st thing done my boss asks me? Well because you told me to do the 2nd thing but then 3rd thing happened (another department called me to help them and I cant say no to a keyholder) and that's why it got pushed behind

Maybe he should instead ask our coworker who only ever wants to drive a forklift if he could help with those 1st and 2nd things instead of making it MY responsibility alone

The only good part is that every time i run into my one coworker he's freaking out and asking me where im at and why I'm not helping him I kid you not he's found me and asked why I'm not helping him like 10 times since I left him, he's helping me with the 1st task
