I thought our orientation class was yesterday BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THEY SAID IN OUR SCHOOL GC
BUT yesterday was for elementary students and today is for high school students
istg my school sucks at announcing things right

anyway, I woke up really early like it was almost 5am. I went to take a bath immediately, no time to waste!! after that, I just watched tv (return of superman and oh my girl hyojung and yooa was with cute zen, it was such a cute and wholesome ep omg ) because breakfast wasn't cooked yet, but I was already dressed in my school uniform (except for the blouse because it might get dirty while I eat and when I brush my teeth) AND DAMN DID I LOOKED CUTE BRO!!!! I wore this cute headband and I only wore this sling bag because it's just an orientation class and I must admit this, I thought I looked very cute!!

I waited for a while for my father to get ready and then I went to school~ it didn't start immediately so I just read this book I brought with me
BY THE WAY, THERE'S A NEW JAPANESE STUDENT, buttt she's not my classmate, she's in 7th grade she looks so cute, I'M GOING TO BE AN EXTROVERT FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE (online doesn't count okie ;-;) BECAUSE I ACTUALLY REALLY WANNA TRY AND BE FRIENDS WITH HER??? she seems nice too !!

okie after some announcements at the gym, we went to our classrooms. I answered the bell work. oh and we also wrote our goals for this school year in a paper and we'll probably go take a look at it at the end of the school year, it's kinda like a time capsule!! I wrote "to get 1st place and to have my highest average score in a report card again. context: I once got an average score of 99% in math on my report card once in 4th grade" yes I really wrote that! I'm proud of it, y'all can't do anything about it heh we also introduced ourselves but there's a twist, we'd have to dance or sing while doing it or make a poem or just any twist actually! but HELP only the top 3 students last school year followed the instruction😭 the 1st placer guy did it while having a foreign accent and the 3rd placer girl did it while doing one simple dance step AAAND I wrote a poem. it's not that good though ;) because we only had limited time

we also did 2 truths and 1 lie after that. I was like (but with a little stuttering):
I'd be lying if I said I'm into sports so that one's a lie. I once got an average score of 99% in my favorite subject in my report card and I wanna take Computer Science when I go to college. these two are true.
when I talked about the highest average score part, the first placer guy chuckled lmao
it's like this: "wow, hilary really mentioned that" and I think it's not a bad reaction?? like I think it's not "wooow, look at her, she's bragging about it". we're pretty much academic rivals (he transferred her in 4th grade and he only beat last school year😭 (online classes don't count of course HAHAHA)), but we both know that we're both really smart

also, when our teacher was tryna memorize all our names, she called me "the intelligent one" and I was like:

we also elected our class officers. I was shocked cause they usually do this like in the middle of the school year?? that'd be better imo, cause you know students will get to know how their other classmates are and they'll know who's responsible and everything, but they said it's good to do this early.
anyway, my classmate nominated me for the secretary position and I was like:
I was shocked, but I was even more shocked with the voting! I was the one who was first nominated for this position so I got to see how many voted for me first and BRO so many people voted for me that the other nominees didn't get a chance to see who would vote for them... like the majority of us already voted for me, I think only 5 students were left to vote... DAMN BRO DAMN I didn't vote myself because I didn't wanna win and this happens it's fine though, I'll just have to write stuff ANYWAY, we also elected the potential candidates for THE WHOLE SCHOOL (only the elected students in each class in junior high will get to have a chance). someone nominated me AGAIN! the first placer guy nominated me for secretary (SAME POSITION ASDHGFHI), but I guess it's fine cause I nominated him for president too lmao we're not in the same party list but if I could vote for students outside my party list, I'd vote for him (and also my bestfriend, she's in the same party list as him, why did we have to get seperated ;) ) he's a smart and responsible guy and also a great leader. I think he'll be a great school president if he ever wins. I'm sure he can come up with great ideas for his campaign and he's confident too. I think it's what I lack as a leader. I don't have confidence at all ;) my parents told me I should work on it. I really should, my parents told me that for example, our iq's the same, this is one of the qualities that the teacher will observe and will see who deserve first place. I could also use it in group projects. if I wasn't so shy, I could make it clear to my members that they shouldn't do this and they should only do this. I'm too softhearted bro, I can't get mad at people and I just hate how people will only know you're mad at them or you're annoyed by what they're doing if you get really mad and shout at themI get to do it sometimes though.. when it's too much for me already ;-; but I just usually kindly talk to them and most of them still keep doing things I don't like, ugh it's annoying

I'm also not expressive irl (might be obvious but ) also, I just know my fate already, I'll be the leader in most of our group projects, maybe even all

by the way bro, the first placer guy's also the president of our class, and when I won the position of secretary, I took over with the writings, but he was still there. anyway, my ex-crush was nominated and after he counted the votes he got, he said "oh? aren't you going to vote for him?" and like he said this in like a smug way brooo (he knows about it 😭). I couldn't answer 😭 omg wtf I should've told him about it, even though it'll be just "I don't like him anymore", I should've done ittttt, I'm going to promise myself to not be shy next time if this topic ever gets brought up again 💀 I should do this to others who knew about it and is not updated lmao

If you want some advice: I was in the same boat as you for many years of high school, I kinda missed out on a lot of opportunities because of my social anxiety. But this year I actually got out there and joined a dance team and it was fun! The first weeks are always the most uncomfortable in a new environment, but I think your classmates trust you alot and wouldn't judge you if you do something. Like hell secratary is already amazing!!! Get it!!! You're gonna be the next filipino president what???? Anyways if you ever get scared just know there are so many people, including me, cheering you on <<3

Well, graduation's in a month. I've gotten most of my marks back for my second exams (our finals are in october, after grad). I'm pretty content with them! Now I just gotta revise and graduate and do my exams and that's it. Formal's a fay after graduation!!

I had my first actual 'finals' with my japanese speaking exam. I had a panic attack and cried during it lol safe to say im not getting much marks for it :)) But my last exam marks heavily improved from 38% to 55%!!! Literally on cloud 9!!

We did the hiphop piece at our school's showcase and we fucking rocked! Like a lot of people didn't know I danced it was wild!!!
