Hopefully when you apply for a course at college (that’s if you’re planning to study full time) remember, you’d be able to receive funds from your student youth allowance that you’re gonna be applying for at least you’d be able to have that as a source of income as of now. But do also continue to look for some jobs or volunteer roles to apply whenever you can and are ready to apply for again though you got this, don’t give up and hang in there. I’m sure you’ll be able to receive at least one call from an employer eventually for an interview, who knows? Like I said, hang in there and try not to beat yourself up too much about it. I believe in you!
I know how you’re feeling right know, and it’s hard when things don’t turn out the way that we expect it to happen. You’re totally not alone!
Sorry for the really late reply btw, I was taking my time to come up with some responses and unfortunately I do usually take longer to come up with something to respond with in order for them to sound right and make sense
About that youth allowance, I'm still gonna apply but my parents said I'm not eligible for it since their parental income is too much that I can live off them. Which, yeah I have been living off them but I don't like using their money so I'm still gonna see if I can get some youth allowance. If I can't then oh well.
Thanks, there's a lifeline store that opened up at my local shopping centre and I wouldn't mind volunteering there but fucking hell I thought volunteering accepted anyone...
Thanks, it means a lot, I'm stopping for now cause of holidays. I might just wait until I'm 18 so I can get my alcohol licence instead. Thanks kiki, I appreciate it a lot <<3
Girl I KNOW I thought volunteering would accept anyone as well when I first applied for some but god damn it why do some of them want ppl to have some prior experience or qualifications for that in order for us to get accepted in that volunteer role..sigh.. 🙄
ahh okay, are you talking about RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)? and ofc, no worries!
Of course, no problem! FYI, my employment consultant at my current job agency was the first person to actually suggest me to look for volunteer roles to get some experience as well. Prior to that, I have never heard anyone else mentioning about looking for volunteering roles to gain some experience.
