Yeah this is basically what I went through after MADE era ended in 2015 and Top's enlistment was approaching lol, I stayed out of Kpop altogether. Even Fxxk It I checked out months after it was released

And I missed BTS' rise, Twice's rise and Blackpink's debut, I was only watching some random video in 2017, ranking most viewed Kpop group MVs, fully expecting Fantastic Baby to be #1 but it wasn't and suddenly there were these new MVs I had no clue about. So I got curious and here I am XD

I have been so active on forums that I have somewhat kept up, if I hadn't been mod I probably wouldn't, but there you kinda kept up with everything popular cause how much it was fought over lol. But still when people make those my top 100 kpop songs of 2018.. or monthly, I just wonder if i even heard 100 songs that year lol, and i think i liked less than 10 songs 2018 so..

I've been in some forum or other for the last 7 years too lol, but Kpop was usually something I only checked out casually, so I only joined a Kpop forum for the first time in the place you used to mod
It's surprising how much more into Kpop I've gotten as a result of being in forums lol.

Sounds good, I'll space it out instead of dumping a bunch of stuff on you at once lol. Which songs/groups did you checkout in 2018? That will give me an idea. Also do you prefer the 2NE1/Blackpink sound or like other girl group stuff too? And since you don't like EXO, I'll know to avoid it

I don't remember everything in 2018, but I did check out Twice's, Red Velvet's, BTS's whats comes to titles at least. And IU's of course. Well I also like Red Velvet's (and fxs) music so it's not all about girl crush to me ^^
