Nah it's ok if that's what u feel. I'm personally alright with the ratio of her singing and rapping, it chances a bit between songs too ^^

I think she gets decent rapping lines but they also have to balance between her and Lisa so. And Jennie is basically lead vocals too at times when she gets more lines than Jisoo lol.
I do prefer her rapping more than singing though.

Jennie is kinda like CL, both singer and rapper - and favorite child- so she just hogs all the lines.. just like queen should

Yep they are 2NE1 vol2, it's quite obvious what YGs intentions were. I'm not sure if she will fare better, she has still bit of things catch up to CL- CL to me has more assertiviness and confidence, Jennie is bit shyer and this translates to me more contacts for CL.

CL has also established herself as artist that Jennie hasn't done yet though I hope she starts also taking more charge of music lyric and even composition wise. Kpop idols need either artistry to become solo artist or actor/actress looks to become actor to last long in the industry ^^ But Jennie has still time.

I know but CL has been mismanaged so much, all her potential getting squandered smh. Idk how many years she still has on her YG contract but she should definitely leave once it's up.
It seems they are handling Jennie better- getting her gigs that are more in line with her strengths, making her the current it girl and all. I think she'll be more into modelling/acting than an idol after some time anyway.

I'm not actually sure when it's up (idk if it's public knowledge) but i have seen speculation it's this May since she re-signed it on May too. I hope so, it doesn't seem she's going anywhere with YG. It'd be better for her to be in smaller company and finally get to release her music like Bom has been doing.

Sure, I think Jennie is doing lot of modeling-wise right now. That could be her route more than becoming solo artist eventually, I'm not sure yet if she would have that longetivity as artist she would need grow for it, despite her succesful Solo debut I don't think she's quite ready

Yeah I don't think YG has anything resembling future plans so best go with a small agency or even P Nation lol. She just needs to be active again, it's been so long.

Jennie seems to be riding her popularity wave, and really that's all you need to be successful lol. But with how much spotlight BP and her in particular are getting, I totally see her crossing over into mainstream entertainment and not stay in music that long so we'll see. I mean even Suzy is a bad actress but she's so successful

I think P nation would be fit for her, she and PSY seem to just synch. But idk maybe she wants to remain in US who knows.

With Jennie the popularity can be just fleeting, so she needs more foundation I think. either establish herself as serious artist, actor or model. You can't be it girl forever :d
