Selena Gomez, actually
I was a fan of her in 7th grade, and when she released Ice Cream with BP I started listening to them and that kinda just got me hooked
I got into kpop in 2019 when YT recommended me D4 from BP right before KTL dropped
and I was like this has a lot of views let's give it a shot and I was like woah is that a debazzled tank? and the rest is history
I like the sound & concepts of my ults more, and I know more about them. My stans are groups that I'm familiar with but I wouldn't say I know them all too well, y'know? My ults are groups that I feel I know really well.
personally I never say I'm a stan of any group especially because:
1. I have yet to spend a cent on my favs
2. I don't stream any of their songs
3. I neither attack (nor defend) my favs lol
and the reason a group becomes my fav is that I generally have to like their personalities (at least what we see of it on camera) and their group cohesion since I can listen to basically any music whether GG/BG or otherwise
and I guess the next question is I take it that you consume much more content from your ults than your favs?
Honestly, I feel like it's pretty even
I stream music from a lot of different groups and I buy albums from a lot of different groups, more than just my faves and ults
Honestly, albums are difficult for me haha. I get albums from three stores, and sometimes Amazon or KPopUSA. I kinda just grab whatever album I can find at the stores from whatever groups I like, which is how I've ended up with all the LESSERAFIM albums. And since I stan a lot of more popular groups, their albums are all gone by the time I get there, so I have to stick with groups that aren't necessarily on my stan list, but I still like the music of.
