I used to really hate opening letters and one day my roommate saw me opening a letter with a knife and he said you know they have letter openers for that and from then on I've collected them

i went to a rock climbing camp for a week when i was eight, loved it, and forgot about it until i suddenly remembered at twelve. begged my parents to let me get a day pass and climbed for multiple days in a row. they decided it was more cost-effective to get a membership. then i saw an ad for their youth teams and applied. i made jt and ive been channeling my inner squirrel ever since
linguistics are just so fun!!! it's so interesting how language affects like everything in life, ever. also foreign languages are too cool like they're just mwah

opening letters and watching hourglasses can be satisfying so i see your point. i think they're so self-explanatory and when it works, it's very... right. like thats how the world intended it to be

it's complex, but there are a set of climbs for your age and gender group. i'm a girl under 17, so i do all of the F17 climbs. there are 4 possible scores to get on a climb. establish (start the climb/get on the wall correctly), low zone (optional checkpoint of sorts. not the top but you get points for getting there), zone (same as low zone), and top (finish)
you may have limited attempts, may not. depends on the competition. you get your score (one of the four) for each climb, then you see where you rank. if you have the same score as someone else, whoever got it in the fewest attempts is higher in rankings.
